Definition

Whether an individual has had their participation payment temporarily withheld due to a failure to meet their mutual obligation requirements. A payment suspension will remain in place until an individual meets a re-engagement requirement as specified by their provider, at which their suspension ends and their payment for the suspension period will usually be back-paid to them. If the person does not meet their Reconnection/Re-engagement Requirement within 28 days of payment suspension notification, their payment may be cancelled.
