A count of the number of business plans that have been approved through the Self-Employment Assistance program, disaggregated by financial year and Australian state/territory.

Computation

A total count of the number of business plans, belonging to Self-Employment Assistance program participants (clients), that have been approved through the program as meeting specified standards. These standards are outlined in Business plan: Approved status, Flag.

Calculated by counting the number of unique business plan identifiers that are flagged as having an approved status. Disaggregated by financial year based on the point in time that the business plan status was set to 'approved' and allocated to an Australian …

Disaggregation

Disaggregated by the financial year of business plan approval and the Australian state/territory of the relevant provider site address. While state/territory in SEA data is generally derived from the participant's residential address, at the service use level (including business plans) it is based on the employment services provider address due to how the information is stored/structured. Relevant Data Elements include:

Business Plan: Status, Date 

Employment services site: Australian state/territory, Code

Period of participation: End date, Financial year

Calculated by counting the number of unique business plan identifiers that are flagged as having an approved status. Disaggregated by financial year based on the point in time that the business plan status was set to 'approved' and allocated to an Australian state/territory per the address of the provider site that the business plan was submitted through for approval.
