Number of Small Business Coaching commencements with pre-existing microbusiness by industry division and subdivision

A total count of Small Business Coaching commencements where the relevant business was a pre-existing micro-business that have occurred in the Self-Employment Assistance program as at the report date, disaggregated by the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC 2006) Industry Division and Industry Subdivision of the business that the Small Business Coaching Agreement relates to.

This is calculated by counting contract referral placement identifiers that have:

• a contract type of 'SEA6' (Self-Employment Assistance),
• a Small Business Coaching commencement flag of '1', indicating their Small Business Coaching Agreement has been signed by both the participant and the provider and has a valid start date, 
• a pre-existing business flag of '1' against the business that the Small Business Coaching Agreement relates to, and

and either

• a contract referral placement status of 'Commenced' or 'Pending', meaning that the participant has either started service or has been assigned to their provider but not yet attended an appointment with them, or
• a participation exit count of '1', indicating that the participant has exited from Self-Employment Assistance program. 

To be eligible as a pre-existing business in relation to a SBCA, the business must:

• have less than 4 employees (not including the business owner), and
• must not be currently operating commercially or be at risk of not operating commercially in 12 months' time, as assessed by the Self-Employment Assistance provider. 

If a business' net income in either the last full financial quarter or in the last 6 months was less than the equivalent amount of Self-Employment Allowance that could have been paid over that period, it is considered to not be operating commercially.
