Number of Small Business Coaching commencements with participant receiving Self-Employment Assistance allowance by business industry division and subdivision

A total count of Small Business Coaching commencements where the participant received the Self-Employment Assistance Allowance that have occurred in the Self-Employment Assistance program as at the report date, disaggregated by the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC 2006) Industry Division and Industry Subdivision of the business that the Small Business Coaching Agreement relates to.

This is calculated by counting contract referral placement identifiers that have:

• a contract type of 'SEA6' (Self-Employment Assistance),
• a Small Business Coaching commencement flag of '1', indicating their Small Business Coaching Agreement has been signed by both the participant and the provider and has a valid start date, 
• an 'On SEA' flag of '1', indicating that participant received the Self-Employment Assistance allowance at some point during the period of Small Business Coaching that the commencement relates to,

and either

• a contract referral placement status of 'Commenced' or 'Pending', meaning that the participant has either started service or has been assigned to their provider but not yet attended an appointment with them, or
• a participation exit count of '1', indicating that the participant has exited from Self-Employment Assistance program. 

Self-Employment Allowance supports eligible Self-Employment Assistance participants for up to 39 weeks from the date they start Small Business Coaching. The Allowance is the same amount as the single, 22 or over, no children rate of the JobSeeker Payment and is paid fortnightly. To be eligible to receive Self-Employment Allowance, a participant must be receiving an income support payment on the calendar day before they transfer to Self-Employment Assistance.
